Dr. Surf featuring surf legend Denny Aaberg plays the Hurley sponsored party at Mollusk Surf Shop in Venice, CA. Awesome food, free drinks, great dancers makes for a fun, fun party. Dr. Surf plays the Pure Fun Records sponsored "ALMOST BLUES" benefit in Ojai, CA to raise money for Corazon de Vida. $1500 was raised that evening to help this organization that works with 15 orphanages in Baja California, Mexico. Killer saxophonist Karl Hunter (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy) joined the band on tenor sax, playing some mean solos.
